How long does my EB-5 investment have to be at risk?

Is it two years from the moment I wire the money to the regional center, when I file the I-526 (the filing date) or when the project starts? Because the project I am looking at has already begun construction and is in its second phase.

The investment must be at risk for the entire time of the investment until you obtain conditional residence and during your conditional residency, which is two years. This takes into account the time your initial case will be pending plus the two years of conditional residency which is typically longer than two years.

The two-year should start from the first day your investment enters the JCE or project because your funds will be at risk only when they enter the project.
