My EB-5-based I-485 application has been pending for 12 months. My case is being handled by California Service Center. When can I expect a result to come out?

You can check the processing times at www.uscis.gov.
There is a very large range of processing times for I-485 cases, and 12 months or longer is pretty common.
Any time now.
USCIS-posted processing time for employment-based adjustment of status cases ranges from 7.9 months to 29 months, with 50% of the cases being adjudicated in 7.9 months. You can call USCIS to inquire and make a service request, but the likely response will be that your case is within normal processing times and will be adjudicated in the order it was received. You can also retain an experienced immigration attorney who can review your case and advise whether the delay is unreasonable and whether you should sue USCIS in federal court to ask a judge to order USCIS to process the case.
You can check the standard processing times on USCIS website. The last time I checked it was 27.5 months, but it has been as long as 43 months.
You need to look at the processing time of the Field Officer where you live, select I-485 and the Field Office.
Processing time is the same for EB-5 based as is with all other employment-based I-1485 applications. The approximate processing time is approximately 12 to 24 months from filing.
