The current processing times for an initial regional center designation application filed with USCIS is 9 months. Amendments to already approved regional center designations are currently taking 10 months to process. At its May 1, 2012, EB-5 Stakeholders meeting, the USCIS stated that their target processing time for these petitions is 4 months. Unfortunately, the Agency did not indicate how long it would take them to achieve their goal of reducing the lengthy adjudication times.
