How long are concurrent filings taking?

I am an H-1B holder whose visa expires in January. As the possibility of renewing work with my current employer is not available, I am looking at other options to remain in the US, including the EB-5 visa. I understand I would be able to apply for this visa while still working as the H-1B using concurrent filing. How long is this concurrent application taking? Will it be ready by the time my H-1B visa expires? What if it’s still undergoing review when my current visa expires, will I be granted temporary stay in the US?

Depends on type of project – regional or private, rural or other, your country of birth?

Thank you for your questions. If you file concurrently you can remain in the US and you will be issued a work authorization and travel document as part of the filing. Currently concurrent applications are taking 1.5 to 2 years.
