How do vaccines influence a public charge evaluation for an EB-1?

Are vaccines that are not related to COVID-19 taken into account during the public charge evaluation conducted by USCIS for an individual holding a B1 visa who is applying for an EB1 immigrant visa?

The Centers for Disease Control has identified the required vaccinations for your immigrant visa. If you didn’t get some of these as a child, they may not be age-appropriate for you now. Best is to talk with the Civil Surgeon in the country where your interview will be scheduled on which ones you personally will need to get an acceptable immigration medical exam.

You are required to have the following vaccinations:
* Mumps;
* Measles;
* Rubella;
* Polio;
* Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids;
* Pertussis;
* Haemophilus influenzae type B;
* Hepatitis B;
* COVID-19; and
* Any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP).

A doctor conducting your U.S. immigration medical exam will help you determine which vaccines are required.
If you do not have the required vaccinations, you will be found inadmissible on health grounds unless the vaccines are not appropriate due to age/ health condition, or you qualify for a waiver.
