How could expedited processing benefit my EB-5 application?

There is no provision for an expedited or premium processing of EB-5 petitions, short of expedited processing of the I-924 exemplar application and related I-526 petition for approved projects. USCIS does review all expedite requests (for every kind of filing, not just EB-5s) on a case-by-case basis where the petitioner demonstrates urgency, an emergency situation or humanitarian reasons, etc.

If the USCIS has approved a particular project for expediting, it simply means that your EB-5 investor petition on Form I-526 could be approved much quicker. If a visa number is available and there is no backlog under the quota, that means that you can apply much quicker for your immigrant visa through the appropriate American consulate or, if in the U.S. in legal status, through adjustment of status.

There is no expedited processing in EB-5 cases. Advisably, consult an EB-5 attorney on various ideas and information you have on EB-5 program.

There are a few projects that have been approved for expedited processing. However, there is no assurance your case will be approved for expeditious processing. My advice is generally to file with the best project so you can be sure you get the full green card, and your money is returned upon successful completion of the investment project.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as expedited processing for EB-5.

Expediting an I-526 is a highly discretionary process. I have heard this idea a lot lately, but no one seems to be claiming any success in requesting this type of processing, so I am still skeptical.
