How can the grandfathering provision in the RIA protect for Iranian EB-5 applicants?

In November 2023, I asked how the grandfathering provision in the RIA could offer protection for Iranian EB-5 applicants. My interview is finally scheduled for the end of August 2025. However, I believe that the attorneys’ responses and predictions at that time may no longer be valid under the current circumstances. Could you please tell me if there have been developments?

With the travel ban, your problems have exacerbated.

The RIA protections have to do with grandfathering for the EB-5 purposes, if you are scheduled for a green card interview at a US Embassy the recent "ban" can affect your eligibility for the green card. If you are speaking about an interview within the US you are not subject to the recent "ban".
