How can living in the EB-5 project I invest in benefit my application?

My family and I visited a couple of the EB-5 projects we were considering, one of which was a multifamily apartment building in a small town in California. We loved the development and the town and decided to relocate there once we receive the temporary visa. Should we notify USCIS that we will be living in the project we invested in? Would that benefit our ongoing application in any way?

Your EB-5 petition will not be affected by your decision to live in one of the apartments in the project you invested in. However, you must notify USCIS of your change of address within 10 days of moving.
