My I-526 was approved last November with a priority date of March 2018 (mainland China), so still a ways away from being able to file my I-485. My F-1 visa expires next summer, and I am currently planning to go home and renew it over Christmas break. Will the approved I-526 cause issues with immigration intent? What should I do?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysMany Chinese consulates have been generous, but you need to show nonimmigrant intent and a plan to return home.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysHopefully, the I-526 requested consular processing as then you can cite that as proof of your intent to return home to China.
