How can I keep my U.S. green card while I study 4 years in Korea?

I am now in the NVC processing stage of my EB-5 case with my parents being the primary investors. Currently, I am expected to start medical school in Korea, which will take four years to complete, and then I will apply for medical residency spots in the U.S. so I can permanently live there and practice. Once I get my conditional green card, which will probably come out in around 10 months, will they approve two re-entry permits back to back? I went to high school and college in the U.S., and I do have strong intentions to continue my career and life beyond Med school in the U.S. as well, although I do have to be in Korea for Med school for the next 4 years. Is there a way to appeal this?

Yes, you can apply for multiple reentry permits but must be in the U.S. each time to file this and can then leave after fingerprinting or waived prints.

You will be able to receive a reentry permit to finish your foreign studies. Initial reentry permits is issued for 2 years and you can apply for another one after expiration. If you spent more than 4 year outside the US since becoming a green card holder, the reentry permit will be issued for 1 year.
