We received the employment-based Green Card in December 2023 and withdrew from the EB5 program on Dec 19th 2023. Since then, the RC has stalled in returning our capital and finally returned 77% of the funds in Dec 2025 after many follow-ups, and has been providing vague information on returning the remaining capital. We have reached out many times since Dec 2025 with little to no traction. What is the best way to proceed forward? They keep saying they are expecting a response from the sponsor “shortly” and are in a Mezzanine Loan. We are considering sending a notice of the payment request to the RC head and the investor team. Is there a better way?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysA better way would depend on the wording in the project documents you signed. Starting with a letter likely can’t hurt. If you need legal representation to interact with the Regional Center, you can call us to set up a time to confer.
