I became a U.S. citizen 15 years ago. My brother continues to live in India. We are looking into the option of me taking out a bank loan from a U.S. bank to apply for his EB-5 application in time, with him paying me back later, as he has the money, but the annual installments for transferring funds from India are limited. Given that I would be gifting this money to him, would my financial and personal information be required as part of his source-of-funds documentation?
