I am the CEO and founder of a small homecare business called Preferred Care Services. I am trying to acquire a turnkey-home care business worth $1.1M. I was introduced to a financial services firm in Atlanta that claims to specialize in EB-5 financing. They said they could help me finance the acquisition with no money out of pocket, provided I created 10 new jobs. The total cost of the service with my equity is about $130K, and we can close in 3 months. Is this a scam or a reality? Can a US-based business take part in EB-5 financing?
