We have not noticed any changes in processing based on countries of nationality in 2020.
How are the processing timing these days for Indian nationals after USCIS changed the method in March? Any improvement that we can expect as it has been a nearly a year and India is current?

I have not yet heard of a major shift. The USCIS does not post those times by country, so any reduction in processing time, firstly, may not be felt yet because the change was fairly recent, and secondly, it would only be anecdotal. I''m hopeful though!
India now matches worldwide, which is showing 35-52.5 months.
India is not listed as a backlogged country yet. Most I-526 cases are now taking over two years to process.
