I am currently working with an OPT EAD card and I want to change of employment to another e-verified company. However, I also recently filed I-485 adjustment of status with a self-petition. I thought I can still have a change of employment since my EAD from OPT is still valid, but was told not to do so. Can I still change employment with a pending I-485?

The school would need to approve a change of employer on OPT EAD.
