How can I use an unsecured loan for my EB-5 visa investment?

How can I get an unsecured loan to apply for an EB-5 green card? I am a doctor and doing a fellowship in Cardiology. All of my friends are making roughly half a million after the fellowship. Given my background, I am sure I can get the loan. What is the process?

Proof of the mechanism to take the loan and the legitimacy of the lender. I would also consider whatever was submitted to get the approval of the loan. This is a fairly new thing for USCIS.

You should talk to a qualified financial institution. From the immigration perspective, as long as it is a bona fide loan from a financial institution, it would suffice.

While a recent case held that cash is cash, USCIS has not updated its policy manual to reflect this. It is possible that with large income you can show the loan is legitimate and real, but there is some risk you will get a request for evidence and may have to fight to win this.

We have worked on these deals. Give background information about your credit worthiness, why the lender would extend that amount to you, background info about the lender, etc.
