What precautions should I take when traveling abroad with a pending I-485 AOS for EB-5?

USCIS still has not updated its guidance as to what it will do with pending I-485 during the lapse of EB-5 regional center. I know its speculation, but what action would USCIS take with pending I-485? I am going to travel internationally from US in a week”s time and I am not able to decide if travel would be safe.

For sure do not travel without advance parole. I recommend not traveling at all until the Regional Center program is re-authorized.

If you do not have underlying visa status, and the program is not extended, you will receive a notice to depart or appear in front of an immigration judge. However, most likely the program will be extended next month and then you can safely travel abroad without any concern.
