What are the requirements for my EB-5 I-797 receipt and international travel?

My I-797 receipt is valid until May 2022 and I have not received USCIS notice to extend it to 24 months (from 18).
Can I travel internationally in April 2022 with the original receipt (that is valid until May 2022)? Any restrictions or minimum time remaining conditions on the receipt?

There is no restriction on the minimum remaining time on the receipt as long as you enter before expiration. If you want to be really safe, you can try and get the temporary green card stamp but they may or may not issue one. Depends on the reason for travel and the local office attitude.

You should speak with your attorney about your best strategy, but personally, I would seek an extension before leaving.

As long as you return prior to the expiration date on the I-829, you are fine. If you expect to stay abroad longer, then call USCIS and make an INFOPASS to get a one-year stamp in your passport as continued evidence of your PR status.
