How can I change the location of my EB-5 interview?

I am presently living in California. I am waiting for my EB-5 interview in Belize. I must go to Belize for my visa interview for my green card. But I am 4 months pregnant and it is high risk.
Is there any alternatives for me, like being able to do the visa interview here in the States?
I saw that they have also issued a travel advisory for Belize as well. What other option do I have without loosing my date or my visa on a whole? I am worried.

If your petition is approved and you are in lawful status in the United States, you can apply to adjust your status in the United States.

You can file for an adjustment but case will start over at that stage. I-526 approval is still valid. This only works if you have maintained legal nonimmigrant status everyday while here.

Interesting you have a visa interview in Belize. The U.S. embassy in Belize does not process green cards. If you are in lawful status in the U.S., you may be eligible to apply to adjust in the U.S.

You can file form I-824.

Normally people file for adjustment of status, form I-485, to interview inside of the U.S.

You can file for adjustment of status in the United States if your I-526 is approved, the priority date is current, and you are in a valid nonimmigrant status while physically present in the United States (and are otherwise admissible).
