My I-526 has been pending for over 4 years, what can I do with my EB-5 application?

I applied for my I-526 (Regional Center) in December 2017 and received an RFE for it. The response was received on April 2021 and I still haven”t heard anything. What can I do here? The whole point of this program is for internationals to help support the US economy and get a green card more quickly than other methods, as a result, however this is clearly no longer the case. Please do suggest what I can do apart from purely waiting around endlessly?

Consider filing a mandamus action to compel a decision. It is best that you contact an attorney to further discuss this possibility.

If your case is outside normal processing then you can file a Writ of Mandamus with the Federal Court. Before that though, I would inquire several times with the Investor Office to see what they say.

You likely have to file a mandamus action to have USCIS adjudicate your petition.

Sadly, the only viable option is to file a mandamus for unreasonable delay. We have had to file several and they have been effective.
