How can I change my consular processing location for EB-5?

My husband is currently in Haiti and our case has been documentarily qualified since 12/19. Haiti is really not processing spouses visa using Covid. Due to recent unrest in Haiti, we have decided to have my husband move to Dominican Republic. My question is, will it be possible to change his interview location to Dominican Republic? If yes, will that put him at the back of line? Dominican Republic is doing June 2020 interviews now. Also, what type of documentation will he need to prove that he s living there now.

To change the consular location, you must contact the National Visa Center.

He needs to prove that he is now resident in the new jurisdiction and then request the consular section to accept the transfer.

This can be done with a communication to the NVC. They will then check with the U.S. consulate in the Dominican Republic to see if they agree to accept your case.

None. Just contact the U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic to request the file and they will send instructions.
