I heard that the USCIS is adding new lockbox locations and changing some old ones. On Oct. 15, they apparently adjusted the filing locations for some applications. I didn''t know about this so I sent my adjustment of status application to the Dallas lockbox instead of the new in Phoenix. What happens with my EB-5 application now? How can I get it to the right place?
Check with the courier and see if it has been delivered. Typically right after a Lockbox change they will re-route for you. You can email Lockbox Support to check on your case.
If they cannot get it to the right place, they will send it back with a "rejection" notice, forms, evidence, filing fees and all, with instructions on how to re-submit.
It will most likely get rejected, so if you do not get a receipt in the next 30-60 days, you can expect it will be returned. Sometimes they are nice and forward but not often.
