How does the regional center program generally compare to being a standalone EB-5 investor in terms of risks?

I have a vast background in business and entrepreneurship so I could potentially choose either EB-5 pathway. I do understand the job creation requirements a direct investment involves, but I am more concerned about the risk aspect, especially with the “failed” RC projects and fraud stories I have come across. Generally speaking, which investment option would be a more secure approach, and why?

Too general a question to ask - you would need to evaluate each specific option with details.

This question is wholly dependent on the specific project (regional center or direct) and involves a review of the project specifics (by a financial professional).
