How will the spending bill approval in Congress impact the EB-5 reauthorization?

The Spending Bill was passed yesterday without any indication that the Regional Center reauthorization bill was attached for consideration. For this year it seems to have been the final opportunity. I guess we should now expect the worst case situation of USCIS denials for RC based I-526, followed by investor claims against projects and regional centers?

I remain optimistic - there are other priorities in Congress presently but I expect they will tack on an extension via an Omnibus bill. At worst they will likely pass a grandfather provision as I cannot see them dumping the 50,000 people who invested and are waiting in line.
