How can I make sure my immigration process does not get affected by my last name being stated differently in my passport and EB-5 petition?

While my brother was filling out my EB-5 petition, he used one of my last names, but not the one on my passport. On my birth certificate, only two of my father’s names are included – not all four as stated in my passport. Will this cause any issues with my US immigration process? What steps can I take to avoid any issues?

Try to get declarations or other official documents regarding the name discrepancy for the next stage.

Your name is as stated on the birth certificate; you should correct the filing and the passport and any other documents.

This can be corrected once you are at the consular processing/adjustment of status step. It will not affect your I-526 adjudication.

Get a new passport that has the same name as the one on your birth certificate.
