How should EB-5 investors get prepared for the embassy interview?

I have an approved EB-5 application and an interview scheduled with the embassy. How do I prepare for the important questions they might ask me? I was denied a visit visa before – is this going to cause problems? Is there a specific set of questions they tend to ask?

A denial of a visitor visa should not be an issue. Speak with your attorney; they should prepare you for this interview. Standard questions include project status, continued investment (and proof thereof), and SOF. I generally recommend bringing these documents with you. Depending on your country of origin, you may be required to complete a security questionnaire.

You should be prepared to answer questions concerning your source of funds and the project you invested in. Your immigration attorney should be able to provide you with materials to help prepare you for the interview.

I would need more specific information on your case to prep you for an interview.
