How does the EAD extension policy update by USCIS affect EB-5 investors?

I learned that the USCIS ended the temporary employment authorization policy that extended employment authorization to 540 days back to 180 days. On a pending I-485 in EB-5, if my EAD is about to expire, what is the process to follow now?

  If your EAD is about to expire, you need to file an extension ASAP.
