How can EB-5 investors receive their permanent green cards without their I-829 getting approved?

My family and I already got our 10-year green cards while our EB-5 I-829s are still being processed, and have been since 2017. There is no update on that case, but we still received our green cards. Is there a chance our green cards can be taken away later on, or are we safe? Should we follow up on our I-829 situation?

Not sure how you got the ten year green cards unless it was through a government error or another process.

This is an error and yes, your green cards could be revoked as improperly issued. You need to file I-829s and correct this.
