How can I attend my delayed EB-5 interview with an expired passport and in a country where I am no longer a resident?

I have an upcoming EB-5 visa interview, but the appointment was scheduled later than the intended travel date and my passport is about to expire. Would it be feasible to edit the information on the application and still attend the interview with the old and new passports? If I changed countries since the visa appointment was delayed for another year due to no slots being available, can I attend the interview in the same country, considering that I am no longer a resident there?

This is a mess. I would say go to the appointment and do your best to convince them to issue a visa. They can always say no and you are back to square one.
