I applied for my EB-5 I-829 in April 2019 and am still waiting on an answer. I invested in a big hotel project with 900 investors, which created over 13000 jobs, more than required for all the investors. Also, eight of those investors got their approval recently. Should I keep waiting, or is this a good time (and reason) to file a writ of mandamus? Are approvals happening lately, or is there a general issue?

Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyIt is difficult to advise generally, but our office has had success with mandamus on this type of case. Presently, USCIS online processing times are estimated at 61 months.

Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyLook at their posted processing times. If not beyond what USCIS is posting, I do not expect the writ to be successful. If they are, then yes, why not.
