How can I use the Dropbox facility for my approved EB-5 case after receiving two letters from the consulate?

I have an approved EB-5 case that went to administrative processing after section 221(g) three years ago. The case was reaffirmed by USCIS. I recently received a letter from the consulate to send passports through a Dropbox with medical tests and police clearance. However, the name of one of the family dependents was missing. So, I contacted the consulate to add the name. In response, I got another letter, which said “your request for an expedited interview is approved.” That letter has the family member added. However, the website is showing no appointment availability and the education semester for my son in the U.S. is starting the first week of September. Should I compile another letter asking the consulate to allow for sending passports through the Dropbox process? Should I send an e-mail and use an original letter to send the passport through Dropbox?
