How do I get my green card faster, through an EB-5 I-485 or an EB-3 I-485? - EB5Investors.com

How do I get my green card faster, through an EB-5 I-485 or an EB-3 I-485?

My EB-2 priority date is Jan 2012. I downgraded my EB-2 to EB3 in October 2020 by filing I-485 that has not made any movement yet. I had filed for EB-5 in September 2018 and the I-526 got approved end of March 2021.
My goal is to get a green card faster.
Should I file a new I-485 using the approved EB-5 I-526 and withdraw the current EB-3 I-485 or should I wait for the EB-3 downgraded I-485 to take its course?
Is there a way to inter file the EB-3 I-485 filed in Oct 2020 to EB-5 I-485? This way we can leverage the 6 months time that the I-485 has been filed.

Yes, you can request for the pending I-485 to be linked with the I-526 approval.

Best to file another I-485 and see which is adjudicated first.

If both visas are currently available, as in the "final action date" is available, then I would guess EB-3 is faster.

Are you saying you are considering filing EB-5 or EB-3? The bottleneck is not I-485, which is the same to both. The dispositive is the category. Speaking of permanent residency, EB-5 is taking forever. It is not advisable to pursue I-829 right now.
