What is the correct process to secure the DS-260 filing for my parents?

I am sponsoring my parents for their green card. Since they are residing outside of the U.S., I filed the DS-260. They have gone through the interview and now have the visa stamp on their passports. My understanding is, once they arrive in the States, they would receive their green card via mail. Once they have the green card, do I need to file I-485? Or is this the end of the process? What are the correct steps?

Once they have their immigrant visas, be sure to go online and pay the $220 for each of them. Make sure they enter the U.S. before the expiration date on their immigrant visas. The PR cards should come to them along with the Social Security cards if you requested this on the DS-260. Nothing more to do.

If they have received their immigrant visa in their passports once they enter the U.S. they will be lawful permanent residents. There is no need to file Form I-485.

If you sponsored your parents and they have been interviewed after DS-260 filing, they would have received an immigrant visa page on their passport, which indicates that they are permanent residents entering the U.S. Once they enter, their green card will be mailed to wherever you indicated in the filing to receive the card. No further action is needed after the green card is received.

Once they have the green card, they do not need any further application to be permanent residents of the U.S.
