What happened with the EB-5 Direct Investment program after the reauthorization?

Did the EB5 direct investment program get scrapped with the new bill being passed recently? Do all new investments have to be through a regional center only?

Only pooled direct has to go through a regional center - a single direct case can be filed asap and we are busy filing them.

Not scrapped but seems to be limited to a single investor.

Direct EB-5 is ok now only if there is one EB-5 investor.

The direct program is still active and in place. The March reauthorization made some changes including adjusting the investment threshold. Many of these changes have applied to the direct program. To be clear, the direct program has been available and continues to be so.

The direct EB5 program is permanent and continues to exist. As of today, only direct EB5 investments can be filed with USCIS (until Regional Center applications for recertification are approved).

The direct EB-5 is alive and well!
