How can I speed up the EB-5 adjustment of status time line?

Given the pandemic, adjustment of status times seem to have increased a lot. Do EB-5 AOS get prioritized differently compared to other categories? Is there any insight on how long EB-5 AOS is taking? Would opening an expedite request based on financial need be problematic given that this is an investor category?

Any case can be expedited if you meet the compelling expedite criteria but what is the financial need or potential financial loss caused by the delay, especially if you have a work and travel card.

Other than a federal lawsuit, there is not much to do but wait it out. At least you can remain in the U.S. with work and travel permissions while you wait.

There is no expedite but you can see where you are in the queue (assuming your Priority Date is current in the Final Action Chart) by selecting I-485 and then the Field office closest to your U.S. residence at: Processing Times (uscis.gov).
