I have looked into quite a few EB-5 projects but I am having a hard time selecting one. I know i have to consider the project which mitigates both the immigration and financial risks. What are the key factors I need to consider for my due diligence on a project?

Immigration AttorneysMost of the EB-5 programs are real-estate investment projects and can be very risky. We suggest looking at non-real estate regional centers.

Immigration AttorneysPerforming due diligence without an expert is difficult. You need a well-qualified broker/dealer or other specialist trained and qualified, and you may want to work with an attorney who can recommend a good due diligence specialist. Sadly there are very few.

Immigration AttorneysAn immigration attorney can tell you about the immigration risks; you may need a financial advisor to analyze the financial stability of the various investments.

Immigration AttorneysYou should hire a financial advisor to perform financial due diligence on the project and an immigration attorney to perform immigration due diligence. It is usually not one or the other, but both.
