Could EB-5 requirements change again?

I’m trying to understand the new EB-5 rules to invest in an EB-5 project since 2022. I understand there were changes to the TEAs and minimum investment amounts. Are these changes settled, or will there be new modifications once the program is renewed in a few years? Because I see the fees changed, and if they increase again, that is something that troubles me.

No way of predicting the future, but normally new rules don’t affect existing investors negatively.

The amount of investment auto-increases based on CPI. Hopefully, we will not see more fee increases for a while. If you are thinking about doing EB-5, you would be smart to file as soon as possible.

The law could change in 2027. Truly, everything can change. It is likely that the EB-5 rules will change in substantially in 2027, no. The investment amount is scheduled to increase (on a periodic basis).
