Can transferring my I-131 affect the processing time?

My I-131 application was moved from one service center to another recently. Is my application processing time going to slow down as a result?

This may actually help because they are getting backlogged again.

This is routine as petitions and applications are frequently transferred between service centers for processing. It doesn’t necessarily mean a delay or quicker processing.

It shouldn’t – they claim it is to speed it up but what choice do you have?

Usually, it’s the opposite. USCIS is trying to speed up the application.
