I have already scheduled an appointment for my EB-5 visa. However, my passport is going to expire soon in less than six months. Do we need to get a new passport before the visa interview? Is it okay to be inconsistent with the passport numbers on the DS-260 form?

Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyYou should go ahead and start processing your passport. During the interview, bring the old passport along with you. There is no need for a passport number to match the one in the DS-260 application.

Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyIf you can expedite the processing of the passport, you should renew prior to the interview. You can advise the consulate of the new passport/passport number when you are at the interview.
