So far, the B1/B2 visa has worked great for me because of my line of work, but there are a few projects in the near future that I’m looking to invest in, and this is making me wonder if I should apply for a residency visa. My family company has a strong connection with the US but we’ve never looked into expanding until some very positive recent development. The EB-5 is definitely an option I would like to pursue, but I really need to continue traveling to and from my home in Brazil, so I am concerned there are some travel limitations I might face while I apply for this visa.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysIf you enter on a visitor’s visa your purpose must be content with your visa. If you have a green card in the pipeline, then the inspectors may think you seeking to adjust status in the US rather than wait abroad so there is some level of risk.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysHappy to talk with you about this. We can set it up for consular processing which would allow you to continue travel on your B-1/B-2.
