Can I apply for an F-1 Visa with an ongoing EB-5 application?

My father included me in his EB-5 petition, and our I-526 was approved over three years ago. For almost two years, our case has been documentarily complete, and we have been waiting for NVC to schedule an interview. We don’t know how much longer this will take, but I recently got accepted into a great graduate program at a prestigious university. Now, I have to apply for an F1 visa. I fully intend to return after my studies, but I know I’ll have to prove that to the consular officer. What are my chances, and how do I go about it?

Should not be a problem. Explain at the consular interview that you are retuning for your immigrant visa interview when or if it ever gets scheduled.

Yes, you can as long as you can demonstrate that you do not possess an immigrant intent when obtaining this F-1 visa. Our firm has assisted similar cases with great outcomes. If you need further assistance, please let us know.
