Are there any backlogs affecting Canadian EB-5 investors?

I am Canadian and wondering if there is a backlog for EB-5 applications for Canadians. Considering we may be the 51st state 🙂

Different types of EB-5 cases have different processing times. But Canadians are in the worldwide classification, which is the fastest.

It is still too early to consider Trump's thought that Canada will be the 51st State. Currently, if the investor was born in Canada, there is no backlog. However, if the investor born in China, for example, but holds a Canadian passport, there may have backlog for him this year although it is still current for China-born investors.
