Once I file the I-526 form, will my U.S. immigration status as an EB-5 applicant protect me? Once I get it, will the temporary green card be enough to carry with me everywhere I go in the U.S.?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysThe filing of Form I-526 alone does not provide any immigration protection. However, filing Form I-526 concurrently with an application for adjustment of status may offer certain protections. As a best practice, individuals in the United States who file for adjustment of status should maintain their valid nonimmigrant status while the application is pending. Once you obtain a temporary green card, it will authorize you to live, travel, and work in the United States with almost no restrictions.
