What is the processing time of the I-485 after biometrics?

How long does it take for USCIS to process the conditional visa after the biometrics appointment for the I-485? The USCIS online case tracker currently says my fingerprints were taken. That was three months ago.

Depends on your country of birth, category you are filing in, has I-526 been approved?

It still depends when the underlying petition (such as I-526E) is approved even though you have done your biometrics. I-485 will be adjudicated only after the I-526E has been approved. It will normally take about 4 - 6 months after the I-526E is approved.

In my recent experience, I-485 is taking between 12 to 18 months from filing.
