Are EB-2 or EB-3 a better option than the H-1B visa?

Are these visas a better option than the H-1B visa, for which my chances of getting it depend on luck rather than my expertise and experience?

They are very different and often done concurrently. The H-1B allows temporary employment and is one of many nonimmigrant visa options; whereas the EB-2 or EB-3 is an offer of permanent employment from a U.S. employer which must go through recruitment to try and find a U.S. worker, prevailing wage determination and takes at least a couple of years to complete (much longer if you are from India or China) with the final reward as permanent residency.

EB-3 and EB-2 are for green card, but H-1B is only for a working visa. Normally, EB-3 and EB-2 are better than H-1B because EB-2 and EB-3 can give you a green card, but the application requirements and procedures are completely different.

EB-2 and EB-3 are two types of green cards. H-1B is just a work visa. They are two different animals. You should consult with an attorney regarding your situation.
