I am interested in the partial payment alternative when making my EB-5 investment. However, I’d like to know how soon I have to pay to complete the total payment. Can it be a year?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysYou need to show all the funds are identified and available and you in the process of investing. You definitely want to have all the funds in before they adjudicate and if you can do it within 6 months that is better than one year.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysIf you can prove that you are actively in the process of investing in two years, you can complete your investment in two years. However, currently the I-526E is adjudicated in 9 - 15 months, it is likely the officer may ask whether you have invested the entire amount in less than 24 months. I would suggest you complete the investment in 12 months.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysYou have to get it OK’d by the RC; a year in direct EB-5 context is doable.
