I’m concerned the changes expected to the H1-B program by the USCIS can hurt my chances of switching employers. I understand the idea is to make it harder for companies to hire foreign tech workers with H-1B visas. But I already have an H1-B visa, have been here for 3 years now, and I’ve been recently approached by one of our competitors for a more competitive position. I don’t know whether I should wait and see to make the switch or go ahead and do it before the new rules happen.
