My EB-5 follow to join I-485 was outside of processing time for more than 2 years. The I-526 and I-485 petitions of my wife were approved successfully. I raised a couple of inquiries and planned to file a writ of mandamus at this point. My case was originally processed at the California Service Center. I just learned that it was just transferred to a local field office for jurisdiction. It is my understanding that the majority of the EB-5 cases happen in CSC, is it typical to move the file to a local field office for adjudication? Will it expedite or delay the process?
