Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyVisa allocation is a different beast and covered by the Department of State. While some EB-5 benefits were floated as a possible addition to the Covid stimulus bills (like additional visas) nothing came of it. Because of the lack of travel, you may see fewer people moving forward to take advantage of their approvals and visa availability.

The problem is with consulates closed, there is a fear that unless they reopen soon, many unused visas may get wasted. We are hopeful they will reopen soon and increase the number of interviews to make sure the full allocation is used before September 30 annual deadline.
