If nominated by one Australian state or territory with my Significant Investor Visa, what is the process to move to a different state or territory?

If I choose a certain state or territory in my EOI and end up being nominated to that state or territory, I’m curious what my options are for mobility throughout Australia. My family wants to live in Sydney, but my wife is actively seeking employment in Australia. We may have to move where the job is, but we obviously do not want to break the terms of our visa.

As you will have undertaken a commitment to live and conduct your business or investment in the nominating state or territory, failure to comply with these conditions may result in the withdrawal of state or territory government nomination for the applicant?s visa. This would result in visa cancellation.

Each state has its own condition which you would be notified at the time of application. Usually, when you receive a nomination from a state, you need to live and work on that state and you are not allowed to move to other states for work or life otherwise you would breach your nomination condition.
